Image Creation Timeline
Checks EXIF metadata for software DNA traces (Photoshop, Canva, Midjourney), date conflicts, and device capture signatures.
SIGNAL 02
Error Level Analysis
Re-compresses the image and measures pixel-level differences. Selectively edited regions show higher error levels than untouched areas.
SIGNAL 03
Noise Pattern Analysis
Samples four corner zones and measures sensor noise variance. Images composited from multiple sources show abnormal noise distribution.

Colour Space Integrity
Analyses RGB channel distributions. Unnaturally uniform colour patterns are consistent with AI-generated imagery and heavy filtering.

Do you store my image?
No. Your image is processed entirely in volatile memory and deleted immediately after analysis. We never write it to disk or retain any visual data.
Can it detect all deepfakes?
No tool can detect all deepfakes. Sophisticated modern AI generators can produce images with no detectable forensic anomalies. RealCheck is most effective against photoshopping, compositing, editing, and lower-quality AI generation. Results are forensic indicators — not definitive proof.
